 Oxidized bitumen 115/15 is produced on the basis of petroleum bitumen which is produced by blowing bitumen 60/70 by hot air with very hot temperature. BAKHTAR Bitumen 115/15 is a semi-solid oxidized bitumen grade from pure petroleum bitumen which is under the category of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons bitumen and oxidized bitumen is normally used for different purposes in the construction business all over the world.  BAKHTAR Bitumen Oxidized Bitumen 115/115 owns a very high softening point, high flash point and its highest characteristic is its high stability during melting.

BAKHTAR Bitumen 115/15 oxidized bitumen is a bituminous product manufactured by very special process of NON-OXIDATION but MODIFICATION of VACUUM BOTTOMS at 230 C temperature, resulting in a material of a much higher penetration content. Applications of oxidized bitumen 115/15

 BAKHTAR Bitumen Oxidized bitumen 115/15 is normally used as raw material for production of bitumen coat, the chemical fuel, paints, lacquers, varnishes, paper-pulp-board, textile processing, road construction, ,crack seal and repairmen, civil works, construction industries, pavement, sealing and insulating buildings, insulation and isolation bitumen membrane sheet, adhesive, construction materials additive, dust-binding, coating, insulating and impregnating agent, production of rubber and plastic products. Using Method of Oxidized Bitumen 115/15

BAKHTAR Bitumen 115/15 should be heated with double temperature against the softening point to be make it have flow and viscosity. Normally bitumen 115/15 must be heated up to 230 ᵒc while it is the bale and if it is inside of bitumen bag, it is required to have extra temperature to melt the bags which it is approx. 50 ᵒc more.
Before using BAKHTAR Bitumen Oxidized Bitumen 115/15 the surfaces must be dry, clean and free of any dust or loose particles, or any curing products, irregularities, and slurry. If you use this types of asphalt without cleaning the area the bitumen 115/15 will be easily removed.

Storage/handling situation of oxidized bitumen 115/15

BAKHTAR Bitumen Oxidized bitumen 115/15 is with 10 years validity and guarantee at multi-time heating and cooling situation, please refer to MSDS for further information. It is suggested for higher time of warehouse keeping to keep the bitumen 115/15 under shelter and out of the rain and sun shine.

By mopping or by the pour and roll method it should be heated to a temperature between 180 to 200.
